Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Steadfast Dallas Spray Foam Insulation for work at your house or building. By browsing the site, sending us a request or scheduling a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
When we give you a written estimate or contract for a specific job, that document works alongside these terms. If the two ever conflict, the written document for your job controls.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Dallas, TX. We install spray foam, blown-in and other insulation, seal air leaks, remove old insulation and put down vapor barriers in attics, walls, crawl spaces and other parts of homes and commercial buildings in Dallas and the cities around it. You can read more about who we are on our About page and see our services from the home page.
The information on this site is general. It explains how insulation work usually goes, but every house is different, and what your job needs is something we can only tell you after we've seen it in person.
Estimates and pricing
Our on-site estimates are free and obligation-free. An estimate reflects what we can see and measure on the visit, such as the size of the space, how much insulation is already up there, the material you choose and how hard the area is to reach.
Some conditions only show up once the job is open, like insulation that's wet or full of droppings, hidden damage, or gaps that weren't visible from the hatch. If we find something that changes the scope or the price, we'll stop, explain what we found and get your approval before doing extra work. We won't bill you for added work you didn't agree to.
Estimates are good for the period written on them. After that, material costs may have changed, so we may need to update the price before we schedule.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, illness or a problem on an earlier job can push a date, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new one with you.
On the day of the job, you agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to clear stored items from the attic, crawl space or walls we're working on. Some foam products need the house empty while they're applied and for a set time afterward. We'll tell you before the job when you need to leave and when it's safe for you, your kids and your pets to come back, and you agree to follow that timing.
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call us at (214) 706-4099 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials for your job or turned other work away to hold your date, we may charge you for those costs. We'll explain any such charge before you book.
Payment
Your estimate or contract will show what you owe, when it's due and which payment methods we take. Larger jobs may call for a deposit before we order materials, with the balance due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until it's settled, and we may add reasonable collection costs allowed under Texas law. If you have a question about a bill, call us before the due date so we can sort it out together.
Our work and what we stand behind
We do the job the way we said we would, and satisfaction is guaranteed. If something about our workmanship isn't right, tell us, and we'll come back out to look at it and make it right.
Any written warranty we give you for a job will say what it covers and for how long. Insulation materials carry their own warranties from the companies that make them, and we'll pass those along to you. Beyond those written warranties, the website and our services are provided as they are, and we don't promise any particular drop in your power bill or change in comfort, because that depends on your house, your HVAC system and how you use it.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and insured, and we're responsible for damage our crew causes while working at your property. To the extent Texas law allows, we aren't responsible for problems that were already there before we started, for damage caused by others, or for indirect losses such as lost income or the cost of staying somewhere else.
If we are found responsible for a loss tied to a job, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, unless Texas law requires otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have that the law says can't be waived.
Resolving a disagreement
Most problems get fixed with a phone call, so if you're unhappy with anything, please reach out through our Contact page or call us first. We'll listen, look at the work again if needed and try to settle it fairly.
If we can't work it out between us, either side may suggest mediation with a neutral person before going further. Any lawsuit about our work or these terms will be filed in the state or federal courts serving Dallas County, Texas.
Which law applies
These terms, and any job we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to rules that would point to another state's law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the current version will always be on this page. Changes apply to site use and jobs booked after the update. A job already under contract stays under the terms you agreed to when you booked it.
Questions about these terms
If anything here is unclear, call Steadfast Dallas Spray Foam Insulation at (214) 706-4099 or send us a note through the Contact page. We're glad to walk you through it before you book.
